Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has been named the Premier League manager of the month of the December for the fourth time in a row. He become the first Premier League manager to achieve that fete in the tournament’s history.
The Spaniard has enjoyed an impressive run with his City side who are yet to lose a Premier League match since the beginning of the 2017/2018,drawing twice in the process.
Guardiola guided City to six wins and one draw in a busy December schedule,scooping 19 points from a possible 21.
The Cityzens registered wins against Tottenham, West Ham, Bournemouth, Newcastle, Swansea and Manchester United before enduring a frustrating goalless draw at Crystal Palace on New Year’s Eve. Pep Guardiola has now broken Antonio Conte’s three consecutive Premier League manager of the month awards set in the 2016 season.
Manchester City face a tricky fixture at Anfield on Sunday 14th,a venue tat which they are yet to win a match since 2003.
Meanwhile,Tottenham forward Harry Kane has been named the Premier League player of the month of December.
