Starlets will be going to Ong’ata Rongai during the weekend for a tournament before they depart for Turkey next month.

Harambee Starlets will be playing against Dagoretti High School, National under 16 side and the host team – Ong’ata Rongai Senior School. The tournament will end just a day before the Kenyan queens depart for Turkey.

The Kenyan women’s team got an invitation to participate in the Turkish women cup which is scheduled to start from March 2 to 11. The tournament will consist of 10 teams.

The Kenyan queens will be playing against Hungary, Venezuela, Romania, Hong Kong, Northern Ireland, Uzbekistan, Chile, Turkmenistan and the main host, Turkey.

David Ouma who is the Starlets head coach named the squad that will represent Kenya in the tournament. The squad does not include any player who is playing in the foreign clubs.
