Mbarak also asks FIFA to adhere to the ruling provided by the Sports Disputes Tribunal on the ongoing crisis of the FKF leadership.

“Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed has been bold enough together with the Tribunal members in protecting and ultimately standing by the laws of the country,” former FKF Vice President said.

“Fifa erred by ignoring the fundamental issues raised by Kenyans through the tribunal and it was unfortunate that the world body through Veron Mosengo-Omba did not seek to gather more information before penning a letter that suggested that Fifa could take precedence over Kenya’s sovereignty,” he added

As the FIFA rules and regulations seem to be superior, the law of the country is also a big concern to consider whatsoever. Besides, the jurisdiction of the bodies that are legally instituted is supposed to be respected also.

Meanwhile, FIFA also gives a threat to the Kenyan government after they instructed that former Harambee Stars coach Adel Amrouche should be paid his dues. FIFA said that failure to abide by the directive can lead to a ban in 2022 world cup qualifiers.
