Kovacevic was shot at outside his home in Athens as two assailants attempted to ambush him while he tried to park his car.
The former Sheffield Wednesday star has now accused Bravo of hiring assailants to kill him after he was attacked in a park in Greece.
Kovacevic managed to run for his life but was taken to hospital after injuring himself while dodging a bullet.
It is understood the gunmen fled the scene in a car, which was later found in the outskirts of Athens city centre.
Recalling the incident, Kovacevic said: “I saw a man getting out of a car with a gun in his hand and coming towards me.
“I instinctively dived to the right and he fired at me.
“Then he ran, got into the car and disappeared.”
